I know this is bad but I gave this Bad Breath Tester to someone in the office as part of the secret Santa office gift exchange last year. When I picked the guy’s name, I knew I could finally get my message across to him without personally telling him. Ever since then, his breath has been fresh and I actually can talk to the guy longer than 2 seconds. Bad gift for him, good gift for me!

My Mother-in-law felt we needed to spruce up our place with “more Christmas cheer”. This in her mind is how you add more xmas cheer, a Santa Toilet Seat Cover and Rug Set. When my husband first saw it he started laughing so hard, he almost chocked on a gummy bear. I guess nothing says Christmas cheer like opening up Santa’s head and defecating down his throat. Merry Christmas everyone!

Sponge Deodorizer

I got the Sponge Deodorizer as a gift from my aunt for Christmas. She thought it was a great invention, I thought that throwing out the sponge in garbage and using a new clean one was much more effective. I can get a a whole package of sponges for a dollar so why would I need this. So what did I do with the sponge deodorizer? I re-gifted, thankfully it was a Secret Santa gift exchange .

“Snow” Globe from Hell

When I was in sixth grade, I became friends with a very socially challenged girl. For Christmas that year, she gave me something wrapped in wet newspaper that smelled, I kid you not, like horse manure. I wanted to wait to get home so I could dispose of it without hurting her feelings, but she insisted I open it in class. Inside was a mason jar filled with murky brown water, glitter, and one very dirty and decaying pinecone. Apparently, all of the dirt on the pinecone had leeched into the water as the jar sloshed in her backpack all day. The newspaper she had wrapped it in came, I can only assume, from the floor of her horse barn. I could hardly wait to get home so I could get rid of it. Needless to say, we didn’t hang out much after that…

A Pink 3 Year Old Tutu

My aunt gave me this 3 year old pink tutu with a matching pink headband for Christmas. See I’m 17 and very tall for a girl and the color I despise the most is pink. She and I didn’t get along this summer, and I know this was her revenge. I wear dark colors and have for 4 years everyone in my family knows that I hate pink and light colors. The tutu didn’t even fit. She gave the same kind of tutu to my tiny little 4 year old cousin and it fit her perfectly.

My older brother has never given me a thing in his life, besides some bruises. Never a birthday or Christmas present. So you’ll imagine my surprise when this year for Christmas he said he had something for me and knew I would love it. I open it.. a SLANKET? Like a Snuggie.. but not? We have lived in Southern California our whole lives, he knows it doesn’t even get cold here! Talk about regift at the next white elephant silly gift exchange…I guess it’s okay that he’s never gotten me anything before, saved me from pretending to love it!

Nose Hair Trimmer

A couple of Xmas’s ago I received a nose hair trimmer from my brother. Receiving a nose hair trimmer is already a bad gift but receiving one that is a shaped like a finger makes it a really bad gift.

My friend gave me a framed picture of her dog for Christmas. And worst of all, Now I feel like I have to have this picture hanging up in my house in case she drops by. It’d be one thing if her dog was cute but he looks like……this! Worst Christmas present ever. lol

Slightly Used Thong

I opened the box to see a lacy thong and was quite embarrassed that my mother in law had gotten it for me. The yearly gift opening was a one at a time hold it up and show everyone what you got kind of thing. So I am holding it up when she says..” I hope you don’t mind that I tried it on because I never had a thong before. I don’t know how you wear those things”..Ack! I am thinking that this is one I will NOT be wearing. I can just imagine my facial expression as I literally dropped it like a hot potato. I excused myself to go to the powder room and wash my hands. When we got home I tossed it box and all into the wood stove and it burned to ash in a couple minutes. I still cringe when I think about this and it was a couple Christmases ago. Needless to say, we opted to stop exchanging gifts after that incident.
